Fees

My standard fee is commensurate with therapists practicing in Oregon & Arkansas. I keep a limited number of reduced rate slots available for individuals facing financial hardship. I would be happy to discuss financial concerns and consider possible options. You can find out more about my sliding scale criteria through Open Path Collective

Insurance

I am credentialed with PacificSource, Aetna, Moda, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oregon/Regence insurance and I accept self-pay clients. I am in the process of credentialing with more insurance panels. If I am out of network with your insurance provider, you may still receive substantial reimbursement for services through use of a “super bill”.  I encourage you to call your insurance company to verify out-of-network coverage for outpatient mental health services.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a session, be sure to cancel 48 hours in advance to avoid being charged the full session fee. In the case of an emergency, you will not be charged for the first cancellation, but will be for subsequent missed sessions. A session is considered a no-show if you are 10 minutes late without providing advanced notice.

Scheduling

Our first contact will be a free 15-minute phone consultation. This gives you the opportunity to ask me questions about my practice, approach, and psychotherapy as well as gives me the opportunity to get a sense of why you are seeking therapy at this time. Together we will decide whether to then schedule an intake session. Please contact me to schedule a phone consultation.

No Surprises Act

If you are uninsured or insured but self-pay, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) for services. These estimates may change as the treatment progresses and are not a guarantee of treatment frequency, length or cost. If estimates or services are added or changed, you will receive a new GFE. Your signature does not create a contract or require you to receive psychotherapy services from me.

The information provided in the Good Faith Estimate is only that: an estimate. Actual healthcare items, services, or charges may differ or change throughout the year, even for long-term established clients. For new clients, I may revise your estimate once we have met and discussed more details around your symptoms, likely diagnoses, severity, and treatment plan, which may not be reflected in the Good Faith Estimate you initially receive. However, I will never schedule healthcare services or items without client consent, and clients may request an updated Good Faith Estimate at any time.

You will receive your estimate after we have determined that we will be working together, and will be revised if it appears to be more than $400 off the estimate you have been given.
